Unusual 1960s folk art bottle opener with a hand-carved wooden handle formed from a natural tree branch. The bark has been left in place, with a stylised face carved into the wood, giving it a rustic and characterful appearance.
Likely made in alpine Europe (Germany, Austria, or Switzerland), these novelty openers were sold as tourist souvenirs and remain collectible today. Both decorative and functional, it makes a great addition to a home bar, drinks cabinet, or rustic kitchen display.
Dimensions: 13 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm
Condition: Functional with some age-related wear to the metal opener and light surface rust. The wooden carving and bark remain intact and display beautifully.
A unique piece of mid-20th century barware with strong folk art appeal.
