A charming trio of early 20th-century Allertons demitasse cups and saucers in the classic Willow Pattern. Each piece features rich cobalt blue transferware with the iconic chinoiserie scene of pagodas, willow tree, bridge, and birds.
All three cups carry the printed Allertons Ltd England backstamp, including the ‘A’ in a wreath design. Two saucers also carry printed Allertons marks, while the third saucer has an impressed “3” mould mark without a printed stamp — a common variation in Allertons production from this era.
These small cups are ideal for after-dinner coffee or as decorative display pieces within a Willow Pattern collection.
Condition
Good antique condition with age-related glaze crazing, light base wear, and a small chip to the foot ring of one cup. Transfer prints remain clear and unfaded.
