An antique brass chamberstick candlestick, stamped Made in England to the base and dating to around c1900. Designed with a wide drip tray and beaded loop handle, this chamberstick was a practical piece for carrying light safely between rooms.
The candle holder features a fluted socket with a 2.5 cm diameter, set on a scalloped circular pan measuring 15 x 12 cm. Overall height is 5.5 cm.
Condition: In good antique condition with surface wear, tarnish and marks consistent with age and use. The piece has a lovely aged patina and displays beautifully.
