This is a striking antique copper Green Man panel with beautiful weathering and a deep natural patina that has built up over many years. The metal has a wonderfully aged surface with rich greens, darkened tones and warm copper highlights, giving it that textured, timeworn finish collectors love.
The panel is hand crafted in repoussé copper, with the face and foliage raised from the metal to create a bold, sculptural effect. The detailing has that organic, flowing quality often associated with Arts and Crafts design, and it is possibly from that tradition, although it isn’t possible to date it exactly.
