The set features a brass or brass-plated dustpan with a rolled edge, paired with a natural bristle brush fitted with a decorative cast handle. The handle is embossed with the word Revenge, a naval-inspired motif commonly used on British household wares of the period.
Based on the materials, construction and decorative style, this set dates to the early 20th century, most likely the Edwardian to early interwar period, circa 1910–1930. The use of natural bristles, brass metalwork and ornamental casting is typical of domestic items produced during this era, before later simplification and mass production.
