An antique Edwardian Lyons’ Tea advertising tin, dating to the early 20th century and styled with an Art Nouveau influence. The tin features a perpetual calendar design to the front, with faux woodgrain and draped scroll motifs framing the cut-out style month and day numbers.
Inside the hinged lid is the classic advertising slogan: “All the year round drink Lyons’ Tea”, a reminder of the long-standing heritage of J. Lyons & Co., one of Britain’s most iconic tea merchants.
The tin is in good antique condition with some expected surface wear, patina and interior age marks, but the decorative design remains visible and the hinge functions well.
Highly collectable, this tin appeals to both advertising memorabilia enthusiasts and collectors of Edwardian and Art Nouveau decorative tins. A rare survivor with strong display value.
