An antique miniature toffee tin by Farrah’s of Harrogate, dating to the early 20th century. This small rectangular tin features embossed lettering to the lid reading “Farrah’s Original Harrogate Toffee Est. 1840” with gilt decoration, and branded sides reading “Farrah’s Original Harrogate Toffee Shop, Harrogate” framed with scrollwork detail.
Inside the hinged lid, the branding is embossed into the silvered finish, showing natural patina from age.
The tin is in good antique condition with surface wear and fading to the gilt and black finish, but the text remains clear and the hinge and lid function well.
A collectable piece of Yorkshire advertising history, especially appealing to collectors of miniature tins, toffee memorabilia and local Harrogate items.
