Antique porcelain cruet set with two lidded pots and an open dish, hand painted in vibrant cobalt blue, orange and gold in an Imari-inspired floral design. The ribbed lids, moulded handle and detailed gilt accents reflect late Victorian to Edwardian styling, with each section joined in a fixed three-part form. One lid is pierced for pepper, the other slotted for a mustard spoon, with the open dish for salt.
Likely Japanese export porcelain from the Meiji period (c.1900), made for the Western market. The underside carries a hand-painted pattern number in red.
Dimensions: 9cm high x 13cm wide x 13cm deep. In very good condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. Minor signs of wear to the gilt and painted surfaces, consistent with age.
With its rich colours and intricate details, this set is ideal for collectors of antique tableware, lovers of Imari-style ceramics, or as a unique display piece in a kitchen or dining space.
