Antique stoneware flagon in the classic two-tone glaze, with a warm brown top and cream body. A strong and utilitarian piece, these jars were once used across Britain for storing and transporting beer, cider or other liquids, and they now make great rustic décor.
This flagon measures 33cm in height with a 17cm diameter and holds around 6.3 litres (about 1.4 UK gallons or 11 pints). It has the traditional strap handle and narrow spout, with an unglazed base showing the expected wear from age and use. Overall in good antique condition with no structural issues.
A solid and practical example of British stoneware, ideal for farmhouse, country kitchen or industrial style interiors. Perfect to display on a dresser, in a utility room or repurpose as a vessel for dried flowers.
