Antique art nouveau silver corkscrew, circa 1890.
The corkscrew features stunning details of leaves and grapes, which were very popular in the art nouveau period.
There are no silver markings to confirm whether this is silver or not. It wasn't always unusual for some silver pieces during this period to be hallmarked. It is possible it is nickel silver-plated. However I cannot confirm either way.
In excellent, vintage useable condition, with cosmetic signs of wear, as is to be expected of an antique item and is further confirmation of its age.
