Beautifully crafted candlestick / vase dating to the Victorian era, with lovely carved details on the base and an elegant stem.
There is a screw at the bottom of the base, which is covered by green felt.
Made in the arts and craft era circa 1860. This piece is handmade and has the intricate filigree design on thr bass, which was a staple of that movement, which shunned factory made piece and instead favoured well made handmade items.
Could be used as either a candlestick or a bud vase for stems and dried flowers.
In very good vintage condition and is completely stable.  There is signs of age, such as wearing down of the silver plate and patination of the brass, but it is a sign ofnits age and adds lovely character
