This is a vintage Chacom Robusto 259 briar pipe, handmade in France and known for its sculptural, organic shape. The Robusto line has that classic Chacom character – solid French briar with warm grain, a deep rounded bowl and a distinctive curved stem. This one also features a contrasting light accent at the shank, giving it a more artisan, rustic look.
The pipe has been used, so there’s a natural carbon cake inside the bowl and some wear around the rim, but the structure is sound and the briar still shows lovely grain and colouring. Ideal for collectors, restorers, or anyone who loves the unusual, heavier-bodied Robusto shapes Chacom is known for.
