A genuine 1950s Coronet Ambassador box camera, made in Birmingham, England by the Coronet Camera Company. Known for their sturdy yet stylish design, these cameras brought simple photography into post-war British homes and remain a favourite among collectors today.

This model features a black enamel body with a cream front plate, dual viewfinders for portrait and landscape shots, and a moulded Bakelite handle. It was designed for 120 roll film and has a fixed-focus lens with a simple single-speed shutter — a classic of mid-century British engineering.

It comes with its original canvas carrying case, which is in very good condition for its age, showing only minor wear. The camera itself is clean and well preserved, with light surface marks consistent with age. The interior is tidy and free from corrosion.

Good overall vintage condition. Untested with film, so offered as a decorative or collectable display piece.
