The book is a hardback with a lovely gold embossed Cambridge emblem on the front with Latin that reads -
"Virtvs Vera Nobilitas"
Which translates -
"Virtues are True Nobility"
Inside the book there is a sticker with the emblem again for Trinity College Cambridge followed by "Preliminary Examination Prize".
The spine is  solid with all pages in tact. The book is almost 80 years old and so shows some sign of age, such as tanned pages, however for its age it is in very good condition and is completely readable.
