Originally a vintage Crown Staffordshire sugar bowl, this lidded jar has been lovingly reimagined in a rich heritage green with soft bronze detailing. I’ve hand painted the ceramic using chalk paint, glaze and gilding wax to bring out its elegant form and the rose finial on the lid.
With its classic double handles and timeless shape, it fits beautifully into a romantic English manor-style interior. The soft aged finish gives it the feel of an old heirloom — perfect on a sideboard, windowsill or dressing table. Use it for trinkets, dried flowers or simply as a decorative piece full of character.
