A lovely mid century brass trinket dish with a scalloped, petal-like shape and hand-engraved detailing across each segment. It sits on three small brass feet, giving it a gentle lift and a more refined feel.
On the underside is a small hand-punched dot engraving, reading India with a second word underneath that appears to be a workshop or maker’s mark. This style of dotted lettering is typical of smaller brass workshops in mid-century India, especially those producing decorative export pieces during the 1950s–70s.
The dish has a warm patina and natural signs of age, which suit the handcrafted character. Perfect as a small trinket or ring dish, or simply as a decorative accent for a dressing table or shelf.
