A mid century Gamebird folding shooting stick, made in England and designed as both a walking stick and a portable seat. It features a sturdy metal frame, a brown leather sling seat and a ground spike with stabiliser plate, making it ideal for use on grass or countryside terrain.
The leather seat folds out smoothly and measures approximately 44 x 12 cm when open. The full height is around 84 cm, giving a comfortable perch when resting. The mechanism is strong, the leather is in very good vintage condition, and the metalwork shows only light age-appropriate wear.
A practical and well-made mid century piece, ideal for countryside walks, field sports, outdoor events or as an interesting decorative item for a country home.
