A mid-century moulded pottery jug vase, decorated in a bold kitsch style with raised relief fruit including deep blue plums and a pale peach against a green airbrushed body. This piece is typical of decorative ceramics from the 1930s–1950s, with a cold-painted finish giving strong colour tones.

The paint is fragile and some has rubbed with age, which is common for this type of ware and adds to its authentic character. It is not watertight and was intended for dried stems or purely decorative display.

Dimensions: 18 x 10 x 5.5 cm

Condition: Good overall with expected surface wear to the paint. No cracks or repairs.

A charming example of mid-century kitsch pottery, perfect for display in a retro kitchen or to add a pop of colour to a vintage-inspired interior.
