Stunning pair of antique plates from the Victorian era. The plates features ornate and very detailed florals and damask style patterns. A beautiful example of Victorian earthenware and decor.

The marks on the back state "B&T Patent". B & T are the initials of makers "Blackhurst & Tunnicliffe" and based on this mark, I estimate the plates to have been made between 1879 - 1889.

The plates are in overall good vintage condition. However as thry are arouns 140 years old, there are some signs of wear due to age, such as the odd mark, the white has tanned in some areas and the colours slightly faded, however are still very eye-catching. There is some crazing, which is further proof these plates are old.

There are no chips or cracks.
