Small antique jug that appears to be handmade and likely from the Arts & Crafts period.
I'm unable to find a makers mark on the jug, however it is silver in colour, which is very rustic looking as it has began to wear away. Possibly the jug was once silver-plated or EPNS (electroplate nickel silver). Up until 1890, pieces did not have to be marked with EPNS.
The jug has a lovely motif bordering the top, which is very reminiscent of the arts and crafts period. The arts and crafts period ran between 1860 - 1920 and placed value om high quality handmade items, shunning the factory boom at the time.
In overall good antique condition. It would look lovely and charmingly rustic with small dried florals or stems. Please see photos for full details.
