This is a hardback book with embossed, gilded lettering.
The spine is  solid with some wear inside. There are some signs of age, as would be expected from a book that is approximately 75 years old. 
All pages are in tact and the book is completely readable. (Aside from the first page, which is missing, but this was just a publication page and did not contain any photos or writing).
