A single Victorian brass candlestick with a classic baluster stem and domed circular base. Standing 20cm tall, it has a 2.5cm candle holder, designed to fit a standard taper. The underside shows the central hole where an ejector mechanism would once have been fitted – a utilitarian feature of the Victorian period.
This candlestick is in good antique condition, with light surface marks and natural patina from age. There is some old wax residue in the holder, adding to its authentic character. Solid and weighty, it sits firmly on a 9cm base.
