A Danish-made Viking Classic briar pipe with the original stem and the Viking logo. The bowl has a deep rusticated finish with a smooth shank panel stamped Viking Classic and Made in Denmark, and a decorative wood band above the shank. This is a classic mid-late 20th century Danish factory pipe with a bold bent shape and textured carving.
The pipe shows age-related wear including bowl carbon, rim darkening and oxidation to the vulcanite stem, but remains a solid example for collectors of Danish briar pipes or those who enjoy restoring characterful estate pieces.
