This is an original Mattel Barbie doll with the 1966 body stamp, made in the Philippines. The 1966 mark refers to the mould design rather than the year she was produced – her face paint, hair and outfit style place her in the late 1980s to early 1990s.
She has the classic Superstar Barbie look with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She’s dressed in a metallic blue halter top with a layered pink mesh skirt – very much in keeping with the bold fashion styles of the era.
Condition is good overall with signs of age and play. One hand has lost some of its original shape and there are a couple of holes in the dress, but her body is intact and her limbs move as they should.
