Vintage solid brass bell with the number 5 stamped into the top. Likely mid 20th century, this type of bell would have been mounted on a wall, bulkhead or bracket and used for signalling on a small boat, in a workshop, railway office or service area.
Made from cast brass with a domed body and flat top mount featuring a hole for fixing or hanging. The inside retains the original ball-shaped clapper and it rings clearly.
