A characterful vintage Buckland’s Pure Cocoa tin in a striking red and orange colourway. Featuring bold period typography and an octagonal form, this is a classic early–mid 20th century kitchen advertising piece.
Originally produced for Buckland’s Pure Cocoa, the tin is litho printed with decorative panels and heritage branding referencing production since 1870. Designed for countertop use and later pantry storage, it now makes a wonderful decorative addition to a cottage, farmhouse or traditional kitchen setting.
The warm red tones and bold “Cocoa” lettering give it strong visual impact on open shelving, coffee stations or baking displays.
Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related wear.
There are surface scuffs, light paint wear and some darkening to the lid rim.
The interior shows light marks consistent with age and previous use.
Structurally solid with a well-fitting lid.
