Beautiful hand carved wooden bowl with a carved elephant and rhino detail running around the outside. The wood has a rich tone and a lovely aged feel, with a tribal-style design that adds to its charm. Likely mid-century and possibly made in India or Africa, it’s a great decorative piece that adds warmth and texture to any space.
There is a visible crack that runs from the rim through to the base (shown clearly in the photos), but it still feels structurally sound and solid enough for dry use. It would look great on a sideboard, shelf, or table, used for keys, pinecones, dried flowers or just left as it is.
