A very pretty porcelain snail with decorative Japanese imari style design, woth gold gilding.
Research shows that this particular piece was likely made by a Japense company y called "Tapestry l"
There is a stopper on the bottom. I'm not totally sure why, but it has benefits suggested this could be to add extra weight, so that it could be a paper weight.
Regardless, it would still make a very pretty decorative piece on its own.
In very good condition with no chips or cracks.
