An antique Farrah’s Original Harrogate Toffee tin, dating from the early 20th century. This small rectangular tin features raised and printed lettering reading “Farrah’s Original Harrogate Toffee Est. 1840” to the lid and “Farrah’s Original Harrogate Toffee Shop, Harrogate” to the sides, with gilt detail on a dark ground.
Inside is a silvered tin finish with embossed lettering to the lid, showing natural patina from age.
The tin is in good antique condition with some surface wear and fading to the gilt, but the text is still clear and the hinge and lid function well.
