Vintage Vietnamese wooden water puppet figurine, hand painted in bold colours of red, green, gold and black. Traditionally inspired by the famous Vietnamese múa rối nước (water puppetry), this figure features articulated arms and a delicate green fabric cape with floral embellishments.
The figurine measures 17 x 7 x 4 cm. One part of the fabric is no longer attached to the arm, but it still drapes naturally. Some light scuffs to the painted surface, adding to its vintage charm, otherwise in good condition.
