Mid-century white ceramic teapot by R.J. Bagnall & Bros Ltd, Hanley, Staffordshire, dated 1955 and featuring the E II R royal cypher from the early reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Made from glazed ceramic with an attractive all-over crackle glaze and an internal strainer for loose leaf tea.

There is a small chip to the inner rim (see photos) but no other chips or cracks. Crazing is present throughout, adding to its vintage charm. Ideal as a display piece or for adding character to a retro kitchen.
