This is an antique brass fireplace fender front from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, featuring beautiful turned urn finials and a curved brass apron with studded detailing. It is made from solid brass and has a lovely aged character throughout.
The front panel has a warm antique patina, with light surface wear expected from its age. The back shows where it would originally have fixed to a larger fender frame, making it ideal both for display and for restoration projects.
A substantial decorative piece, perfect for adding period character to a hearth. It could also be repurposed creatively as a feature brass panel in a vintage-inspired interior.
