A rare and elegant Victorian glass salad serving set from the renowned Leeds establishment Z. Barraclough & Sons. This distinctive set features a matching spoon and fork crafted with faceted glass handles and includes two matching glass stands.
The set is housed in its original firm presentation box, which features a textured, leather-like finish that has developed a beautiful antique patina. The lid is clearly marked with the prestigious address of 54 Briggate and Commercial Street, Leeds, along with the charmingly early "Telephone No. 636".
A wonderful piece of local Yorkshire history, perfect for a collector of Victorian glass or Leeds memorabilia.
Condition Report
Overall in very good antique condition. The glass shows expected light cosmetic wear and some minor imperfections to the corners of the stands' feet, though they still stand perfectly securely. The original box is firm and structurally sound with a lovely aged character.
