Antique handmade brass bull bell, traditionally used on oxen or cattle in rural India. Cast by hand using sand-casting methods, it has a slightly irregular form, visible casting seams and a raised bull motif on the front. These bells were commonly used on working animals or during ceremonial processions and festivals.
Inside is a wooden clapper, tied in place with string, which gives the bell a deeper, softer ring than metal. The surface shows natural patina, age-related wear and tool marks, adding to its authentic character.
