A characterful antique Revo copper electric kettle, complete with its original wooden handle, brass fittings and authentic aged patina. This early electric model carries the British Patent No. 282173 on the base, placing it around the late 1920s to 1930s. It has the classic Revo features including the ceramic feet, two-pin connector and sealed heating element in the base.
The interior contains the original hard insulating compound used to encase the heating element. This is normal for kettles of this age and design, and it is offered strictly as a decorative display piece rather than a functional appliance. The copper has developed honest wear and verdigris that adds to its antique look.
A lovely piece for collectors of early electrical items, copperware, or anyone who enjoys rustic and industrial home styling. Ideal for shelf displays, kitchen styling or period interiors.
