A charming matched pair of small antique Victorian children's cups, dating to around 1830-1860. Each cup is hand-painted with delicate floral sprays, framed by rich cobalt blue bands and accented with worn gilt detailing. Both cups have small handles and show typical age-related wear, including some rubbing to the glaze and gilt, but remain solid with no cracks or restoration.
These petite cups were likely part of a child's tea set or nursery ware, popular in early 19th-century England or possibly Germany. Their small scale makes them ideal as decorative collectibles, display pieces, or additions to a toy tea set collection.
Condition:
Good antique condition overall, with expected wear from age and use. No chips or cracks. Gilt and paint have surface wear. Please see photos for full details.
