An antique brass candlestick dating to the Art Nouveau period, c1890s. The square base is decorated with foliate scrollwork and stylised mask motifs to each side, with a slender stem leading to a detailed candle sconce and drip tray.
This piece has a warm brass finish with natural age-related patina and verdigris in the recesses, enhancing its character and depth. A fine example of decorative brassware from the early Art Nouveau movement.
