A charming c1950s Pelham Puppets SS Girl marionette, complete with painted wooden head, yarn hair, cloth blouse, red felt scarf and blue felt skirt with a yellow applique flower. She has the classic Pelham rounded shoes and painted makeup face typical of the early SS range.
Condition: She shows light age-related wear as expected from a puppet of this era. The clothes have some gentle fading and fraying, the paint on the hands and head shows minor scuffs, and the yarn hair has aged but remains intact. She appears to move well on her strings.
I have untangled the strings before listing and will try my best to pack them as tangle-free as possible for shipping, though I cannot guarantee there won’t be a little bit of adjustment needed on arrival. The strings are vintage and original, and they have not been tied by me.
