This beautiful Edwardian platter was made by Alfred Meakin Ltd around 1906 and features their "Devon" pattern — a delicate blue-green floral design printed in classic transferware style. The border is finely detailed with roses and scrolling foliage, set against a soft ivory background and finished with a gently scalloped and embossed edge.

It’s a versatile piece: perfect for serving, but also works wonderfully as a display platter or part of a vintage-inspired kitchen. Despite being well over a century old, it’s in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. A lovely example of early 20th-century English pottery — both decorative and functional.

Approximate dimensions: 35cm x 25cm.
