An Art Nouveau inspired Cabinet boasting plenty of colour and character.
This cabinet has been painted in textured clay paints. A base was created to give an aged, plaster fresco style look. The lady has then been completely hand painted and is inspired by both the folk art and the aesthetic of the art nouveau moment, which began in 1890 and incorporated lots of elements from nature and what could be considered thr first femme fatale!
This cabinet is not only functional but also acts as a piece of artwork in its own right and would definitely he a statement piece in your home!
I have deliberately not attempted to "fix up" this cabinet, to give it that "new" finish. Instead I've tried to embrace all of its original imperfections and history,  giving it more age, texture ans character. You will be able to see this in the photos and I really think it adds to the overall aged look! It does not affect the cabinets function.
There is plenty of storage space for the cabinets size, eith a door that opens to a shelving space, as well as a small alcove.
