A striking trio of Indian brassware including two tall enamelled jugs and a matching peacock figurine. Each piece is decorated in deep red with gilt detailing and blue enamel highlights, in the traditional cloisonné-style patterns typical of mid-20th century Indian decorative brass.
The jugs measure approx. 19 x 6 x 6cm and were made as decorative display pieces rather than for pouring. The peacock figurine measures approx. 8.5 x 13 x 4cm and shows fine detailing to the feathers and body.
Dating to around the 1960s–1980s, this set was made for export and remains highly decorative today. A lovely example of Indian enamel brassware that works beautifully as a grouped display.
