A striking mid-century stoneware coffee pot with side handle from the Langley Sherwood range, made in England in the 1960s. Designed with a bold, sculptural form and classic studio pottery glaze, this piece features the signature horizontal ribbing, a distinctive side handle, and a domed, vented lid.
Measures approx. 23cm wide (including handle), 16cm deep and 11cm tall, with a base diameter of 11cm.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. A fantastic display piece, but also fully functional for use as a coffee or hot water pot.
This piece is unmarked, which is common for early production runs in the Sherwood range. It matches marked examples in both shape and glaze, and dates to the early to mid-1960s.
