A mid-century studio-style sauce or gravy jug with matching saucer from the Langley Sherwood range, made in England in the 1960s. Finished in an earthy olive glaze with classic ribbed banding and a generous side handle, it’s both functional and beautifully designed.
The jug measures approx. 7cm high, 17cm wide (including the handle), and 12cm deep. The matching saucer is 16.5cm in diameter and sits neatly under the jug — perfect for serving sauces, gravy or cream at the table.
Both pieces are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
This set is unmarked, which is typical of earlier production runs of the Sherwood range. It matches marked examples in form and glaze and likely dates to the early to mid-1960s.
A versatile and collectable addition to any Langley pottery collection or rustic kitchenware setup.
