A very interesting piece made of a semi-precious stone. Based on the green mixed with orange, this stone appears to be Aventurine.
The piece is likely mid-century modern and used as an ash tray, however there are no signs of precious smoke damage and it could also not be used as an interesting trinket tray in your home, or a display piece on its own.
The stone on top and bottom is very polished and smooth, where as the stone around the edges is  more rough and rustic.
