This is a charming mid-century brass figurine featuring a duck sitting beneath a parasol. It is sand-cast brass with a lovely stylised form, typical of 1950s–1970s decorative brasswork. There is a small engraved R underneath the parasol, likely a mould or maker’s batch mark.
It stands at approximately 10cm in height with a base diameter of 5.5cm, and weighs 115g. In very good vintage condition with natural surface wear and patina from age. A nice little collector’s piece and ideal for brass display shelves, retro decor or desk curios.
