A traditional mid-20th century copper bed warmer, stamped Made in England. This piece features a turned wooden handle, brass fittings, and a decorative engraved lid with a scroll motif. Originally used to hold hot coals or embers for warming the bed, it now makes a striking decorative item for the home.
The lid no longer closes completely flush, and there is some light verdigris and surface wear, all consistent with age and use. Still a beautifully made copper piece that adds character and warmth to any interior.
