A mid-century enamel brass openwork bowl with a colourful Indian flower design, dating to around the 1950s–1970s. The brass has a pierced pattern with hand-applied enamel in red, turquoise, yellow and green. It stands on a shaped footed base and has a bright, decorative finish typical of Indian export brassware of this period.
A lovely piece for display on a table or shelf, or for holding lightweight items. It sits evenly and shows expected age-related wear to the enamel, giving it character without affecting use.
