A mid-century English pottery jug, marked England to the base. This stoneware jug features a faceted rounded body, tall handle and pouring spout, finished in a glossy dark brown glaze with a striking marbled band of cream, blue and ochre around the centre.

Produced in England during the 1950s–70s, it reflects the bold decorative styles of the era while retaining a rustic, utilitarian form.

Condition: Good vintage condition overall with a very small chip to the rim (see photos). Otherwise, the glaze is glossy and intact.
