A matching pair of mid century Indian solid brass goblets, each hand etched with decorative motifs around the bowl. They have an elegant chalice form with slender stems and circular bases, giving them height and presence without feeling heavy or bulky.
The decoration has been etched by hand rather than stamped, and the brass has developed a warm, aged patina with surface wear consistent with age. These are traditional Indian brass pieces and display beautifully as a pair. They work particularly well styled as small, interesting planters, ideal for trailing plants, succulents or dried arrangements, or as decorative vessels on shelving, a table or sideboard.
These pieces have not been tested for use with liquids and are therefore recommended for decorative use or as planters, rather than functional drinkware.
Condition:
Good overall vintage condition, with cosmetic wear due to age and a lovely patina forming.
