Mid-century red glass oil lamp made in Hong Kong, circa 1950s. This piece features a moulded glass reservoir with circular detailing, a cast metal base, and a crown-style burner. Stands 42cm tall with a base diameter of 12cm.
In full working condition – it still produces a flame and draws oil as it should. The old oil and wick have been removed for safe postage. The lamp retains a scent from previous use, typical of oil lamps of this age. No cracks or chips in the glass, just light wear to the metal consistent with age.
A functional and decorative piece, ideal for display or use.
